One person. One wasteland.
Wasteland Online is the passion project of a single developer who got bored — and frankly annoyed — by the predatory cashgrabs that dominate online gaming today. Games that sell power, exploit their players and turn every screen into a shop.
Bringing oldschool browser games back
The goal is to make the classic browser game experience have a comeback: jump in from any computer, play instantly, no downloads, no paywalls — just strategy, community and fun.
Slow updates, honest pace
Because it's built by one person in spare time, updates and new features may come slowly. That's part of the deal — a game made with care and love, not by committee.
Placeholder art for now
Some of the images you see are placeholders for the time being. A family member is working on the real illustrations and designs, and they'll replace the stand-ins as they're finished.
"A free, fast-paced, oldschool browser game made by one person who wanted something better."
